Authentication is an additional step designed to make online purchases more secure. When you place an order using your MasterCard, Visa or Amex card, you must first enter your card details.
Once this step has been validated, you must then authenticate your purchase using 3D Secure. Generally, this authentication is done by SMS or on your bank card application. The authentication code you receive must be entered on the site to finalise your purchase.
